VG Meats is owned and operated by the Van Groningen family. We started serving Norfolk area families in 1970 from our store on the Woollen Mill Road or Concession 6 Woodhouse Road in Simcoe.

You may think our location is little out of the way to make an ordinary purchase, but we assure you that what you receive is not an ordinary product.  VG Meats has received such great demand that we have opened a new store in Stoney Creek, ON.  The Stoney Creek store is now open so if you're from the area we encourage you to come in and try some of our products!  Here are the directions to the Stoney Creek store.

We offer the finest home grown beef from our own herd of cattle.  From the farm to the store, our family maintains and controls every aspect of the process.  This is how we ensure your family is consistently receiving a quality product.

We can proudly say that our cattle are raised on a vegetable based diet without the use of growth promoting steroids. Our product is pure and natural so that your family doesn't have to worry about what you're eating.

Our pork comes from an area farmer that we have been purchasing pork from for over 30 years and all the poultry we sell are locally raised and processed.

We have many award winning products including beef, pork, lamb and poultry. We encourage you to share them all with your family.
