Local Food Customer Relationship Facilitator

Due to an increase in the demand for local food, we have an opening for a person with a unique skill set.  The position involves friendly interactions serving the many retail and wholesale customers that call our business in Simcoe by phone.  We are looking for a candidate that understands that customers are the reason for our work and not an interruption to it.  We work hard and have fun.

The successful candidate will be working closely in a team environment with our family and staff.  Excellent computer skills are going to be a must for this position.  Training will be provided if any particular experience with our software is lacking.  Software that will be heavily relied on includes QuickBooks (an accounting package), Microsoft Excel (a spreadsheet) and various web based applications.  Other areas of expertise that could be immediately leveraged would be human resource management, bookkeeping, data entry, accounts receivables and accounts payables, and copy writing (for use in social media campaigns and company newsletters).  Of course knowledge of and commitment to food safety is also very important.  We are somewhat flexible on hours.  We're closed Sundays.
